I took a digital art class in high school, and I immediately fell in love with the field. I always loved creating things and solving problems, and I love the fast pace of the design community. Things are always changing and evolving and no two days as a designer are the same. I was looking for an internship to give me real-world experience in an environment that really fosters and encourages learning. Jumping right into the workforce is intimidating, but CB+D guides you through it to make the transition smooth and comfortable. Even when I don’t have work or school-related design projects, I am still creating for myself or friends. I’ve also played soccer since I was a kid, and I continue to do that whenever I can.

I have three goals while working at Campus Banner + Design:

  1. To learn about the printing and production side of design.
  2. To see how a firm functions from day-to-day.
  3. To narrow what specific field within design I am looking to pursue in the future.
